Sonia, Sumeet and Kathleen discuss the Aiva Nurse Assistant mobile app, currently in pilot at major health systems. The app is designed by nurses for nurses, who have much different needs than physicians.
In addition to being optimized for flowsheet documentation, Nurse Assistant lets nurses use conversational voice or text to pull data from the EHR, set reminders, do non-clinical translation, play patient education, message colleagues and remotely control a patient's TV, lights, blinds and room temperature. Pilot clients are projecting saving up to 80% of the time spent on several high-frequency tasks -- giving nurses back at least an hour per shift while improving documentation completion rates.
The conversation is part of the series, Voices of the AVIA Network, and is entitled "Empowering Nurses: Reducing Clinical Burden with Aiva's AI Solutions." Learn more about AVIA at aviahealth.com -- or find Aiva's profile on AVIA Marketplace.
